Acer Nitro 5 with 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake CPU launched for casual gamers at Rs 69,999

Acer has launched yet another gaming laptop in India and this one comes as a budget machine for casual gamers. Named Acer Nitro 5, the laptop starts retailing at Rs 69,999 and carries highlights like the latest 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake CPU and Nvidia GeForce GTX graphics card.

Available for purchase from Amazon and Acer Online Store, the Nitro 5 comes with some promising specifications for gamers. These include a 144Hz refresh rate for blur-free gaming, a 3ms response time and an internal heat dissipation technology named CoolBoost to keep the laptop from overheating.

At the mentioned price of Rs 69,999, the Acer Nitro 5 variant is powered by the new 11th-gen Intel Core i5. Coupled to this is an 8GB RAM and a 512GB SSD configuration. Here is what more you get on that price -

Acer Nitro 5 Specifications

With the Nitro 5, Acder aims to provide a holistic gaming experience to its users. It does so with a gaming-specific design for the laptop, featuring narrow 7.02 mm bezels and a screen-to-body ratio of 80 per cent. The laptop sports a plastic finish all around it.

Nitro 5 comes with a 15.6-inch IPS display that features a full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) resolution. In addition, it boasts of a 144Hz refresh rate along with a 3ms response time and 300 nits peak brightness.

The device is powered by the quad-core 11th-gen Intel Core i5-11300H processor clocked at up to 4.4GHz. For gaming and other graphic intensive purposes, it makes use of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 GPU with 4GB GDDR6 RAM.

Memory available on the gaming laptop at the mentioned price is an 8GB DDR4 RAM and a 512GB SSD for storage. This can be further upgraded to up to 32GB, and a 2TB HDD through a secondary SSD slot available on the laptop.

Connectivity options on the Nitro 5 include Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX 1650i, Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI ports, RJ45 ethernet and a 3.5mm headphone and mic combo. In addition, there are two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with Thunderbolt 4, and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port with power-off charging.

The Nitro 5 is backed by a 57.5WHr battery which claims a run of up to 8.5 hours on a single charge. The laptop also comes with a four-zone RGB keyboard and a 720p webcam.

The Acer Nitro 5 comes as the latest gaming model by Acer to woo the Indian gamers. At its price and specifications, it is easy to see how the laptop will have a wider appeal in the market than the high-end options by Acer and other makers.
