- Airtel is offering first recharge plans at Rs 197, Rs 297, Rs 497, and 647.
Airtel and Vodafone subscribers recharging their phones for the first time have a range of first recharge plans to choose from.
Airtel has brought in four first recharge plans. They range from Rs 197 to Rs 497. Vodafone has brought in two first recharge plans at Rs 297 and Rs 647.
Users must note that these plans are only applicable to customers recharging for the first time. If users have subscribed to a plan before, these plans are not applicable, Telecom Talk reported.
First recharge plans by Airtel:
Airtel's first recharge plan starts at Rs 197: This is the most pocket-friendly first recharge plan by Airtel. This plan offers unlimited calling, including roaming circles. The plan also brings with it 300 SMS for the entire validity period. The plan offers 2GB daily data at a validity of 28 days.
Airtel first recharges plan at Rs 297: For 100 rupees more, users can opt for the Rs 297 plan. This plan offers 1.5GB daily data as against the Rs 197 plan which offers 2GB daily data. However, users opting for this plan get 100 SMS/day as against Rd 197 plan which gives 300 SMS for the entire validity period. The validity of this plan is also 28 days.
Airtel's first recharge plan at Rs 497: Customers looking for a higher validity period can go in for this plan. This plan offers 1.5 GB daily data with 100 SMS/ day and unlimited calling. The validity of this plan is 56 days.
Airtel's first recharge plan at Rs 647: The plan validity for Airtel's first recharge plan at Rs 647 is 84 days. Users will get 1.5 GB daily data and unlimited calling with this plan. They will also get 100 SMS/day with this plan. Users can also go in for a second recharge with these plans.
Vodafone is offering first recharge plans similar to that of Airtel's
Vodafone's first recharge plan at Rs 297: Similar to Airtel, Vodafone offers 1.5 GB daily data with a validity of 28 days. The plan gives 100 SMS/day with unlimited calling.
Vodafone's first recharge plan at Rs 647: Users opting for this plan get a validity of 84 days. The plan lasts for 84 days. Vodafone is offering contactless SIM delivery for first-time users.
Government-owned telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has also introduced a new PV first recharge plan for Rs 365. It enables its users with unlimited voice calls and 2GB daily data for 60 days. The overall validity of the plan is 365 days.
