  • Apple is hosting a launch event on April 20.
  • Apple's event to be called Spring Loaded.
  • New iPad Pro models expected from Apple.

Siri can be trusted. Apple's voice assistant on Tuesday revealed that the next Apple event is scheduled for April 20 and the tech giant confirmed it in the evening. Apple is set to host its Spring Loaded event on the mentioned date. This will be its biggest launch event since the November 10, 2020 event where the Cupertino-based company unveiled the new M1 Macbooks.

The latest invite has a Spring Loaded" tagline but doesn't reveal too much. This leaves us with a week to make all sorts of guesses. The invite has an Apple Logo which has been doodled, hinting at the possible new Apple Pencil while a new range of Apple iPad is also expected at the event.

What to expect from Apple Spring Loaded 2021 event?

The word is strong that Apple might launch a new line-up of iPad Pros during the event. However, these are expected to have similar designs to last year's models. This year the company is tipped to launch 11- and 12.9-inch models of its tablets. The bigger of the two is expected to have Apple's first mini LED display.

The new tablets are tipped to pack faster processor which will improve the performance, upgraded USB-C ports and better cameras. Apple might also unveil a new iPad Mini with a larger 8.5- to 9-inch screen.

Another important announcement can be around the AirTags, which Apple is believed to be working on for a while. This will be Apple's answer to Tile. The AirTags is a Bluetooth tracking device which is designed to attach to items like keys and wallets for tracking purposes. It allows you to find these items via Find My app. AirTags will have built-in chips that will allow them to connect to an iPhone.

This is not all. Apple is believed to be working on few other things, which can make their way to next week's event, if not officially introduced. The tech giant is working on a revamp of its iMac line-up as part of its transition to homegrown Silicon processors. The new devices are expected to have slimmer bezels.

Of course, there are the AirPods too, that have been leaked so many times. The new version of the earbuds is under works and is tipped to launch in first half of 2021. However, there is a chance that Apple might reserve it for the September iPhone launch event. There were also voices hinting at an upgraded Apple TV which will be focused on gaming and will feature a new remote, updated processor, and 120Hz support.
