Boat on Tuesday launched a smartwatch, called the Boat Flash Watch, extending its range of wearable products. The company notes that the Flash watch has a 33 mm LCD display for the convenience of users who will not have to squint their eyes to see what Boat Flash's round dial is displaying. Boat's Flash watch features a SpO2, that monitors the blood oxygen level in the body along with a 24/7 heart rate monitor. The Boat Smartwatch also boasts of 10 sports modes. Boat claims that the Flash watch comes with a battery life of 7 days, with two hours of charging.
The smartwatch comes with magnetic charging and users get a standby time of 15 to 20 days. The Boat Flash Watch has a IP68 rating and can be used for intense workouts as it is dust, water, and sweat resistant. The Flash Smartwatch will have six watch faces so users can experience curated controls to control music and the camera. The company notes that the Boat Flash smartwatch houses a 200 mAh battery and works on Bluetooth v 5.0 and that the Bluetooth works within a 10 m range. Users can also get call alerts, and alerts for music as well as camera controls and logs of other workouts to keep track.
The Boat Flash Watch is currently available in Active Black, Electric Blue, and Vivid Red strap colours. The smartwatch comes with a 1-year warranty and is currently available in India for Rs 2499 Boat's website and Amazon.
