BSNL extends availability of Rs 499 Bharat Fiber broadband plan with up to 20 Mbps speed till June 29

As a promotional offer, Bharat Fiber which launched its Rs 499 plan in February this year offered 100GB data with up to 20 Mbps speed. The offer was only valid till March 31. Now, the telco has decided to increase this offer till June 29.

BSNL broadband users are in for some benefits. The government-owned telco has increased the availability of Bharat Fiber broadband promotional offer --100GB CUL till June 29.

The monthly plan which comes at Rs 499 gives unlimited data benefits to its users. Besides this, it also gives local and STD calling benefits to its users.

The promotional offer provides 100GB data with up to 20 Mbps speed. It was lauched this February and was to be available till March 31. But now the telco has increased the offer's availability till June 29. BSNL has now increased the availability of the plan by 90 days. The development was first noted by Only Tech.

The offer is available in all circles of the country except for Andaman and Nicobar circles.

The Bharat Fiber broadband plan offers speed up to 20 Mbps till 100GB data. After the 100GB data is used up, the speed will be reduced to 2GB.

Users must note that the 499 plan, unlike other plans, does not come with a free Amazon Prime subscription. However, the free subscription is available on all broadband plans above Rs 499, Gadgets360 reported.

Recently, the telco also came up with a Work@home broadband plan for no cost. Barring Andaman and Nicobar region, the plan is available in all circles. However, users with a landline connection could make use of this plan free of cost. There are no installing or monthly charges involved with his plan.

The plan offers 5GB daily data at 10Mbps and once the data is exhausted the speed would come down to 1Mbps per day. There's no FUP limit on the plan.

Currently BSNL is also offering various DSL plans. They come at various prices and speeds.
Taking plans under Rs 500, the monthly plans offered by the state-owned telco are as such:

For Rs 299, the user will get a 1.5GB CUL plan at a speed of 8Mbps. After the FUP limit of 1.5GB per day is reached, the speed will be reduced to 1Mbps.

For Rs 149, the user will get 2GB data per day at a speed of 8Mbps. After the daily data of 2GB is exhausted the speed will be reduced to 1Mbps. This is a 2GB CUL plan.

Another 2GB CUL plan is available for Rs 399 with the same benefits as stated above.

For Rs 499, a 3GB CUL plan can be availed. It comes with a speed of 8Mbps and daily data of 3GB per day. Once this limit is exhausted, the speed is reduced to 1 Mbps.
