- BSNL has brought in a broadband plan offering users 22GB daily data at Rs 1299 per month.
- The plan dubbed as 22GB CUL offers up to 10Mbps speed till 22GB after which it is reduced to 2Mbps.
- The plan is an upgradation to the 20GB broadband plan by BSNL that came at Rs 1199 per month.
BSNL has brought in a broadband plan offering users 22GB daily data for Rs 1299 a month. The plan is an upgrade to the 20GB broadband plan that came at Rs 1199. The broadband plan dubbed as 22GB CUL offers 22GB daily data with up to 10Mbps download speed. Once the limit of 22GB is reached, the speed is reduced to 2Mbps.
The 22GB CUL plan is available in for all users in all circles except Andaman and Nicobar, BSNL noted. The development was first reported by Telecom Talk.
Users wanting to opt for this plan can make the payment in four different ways.
Monthly plan of Rs 1299: Users wanting to opt for a monthly payment system will have to pay Rs 1299 to the operator.
Annual plan of Rs 12,990: Users opting for an Annual payment option save Rs 2598 as against the monthly plan which comes around Rs 15,588.
2-year plan of Rs 24,681: Users opting for a 2-year payment method will have to pay Rs 24,681 as against the monthly count which comes at Rs 31,176. So they essentially save Rs 6495.
3-year plan of Rs 36,372: Users opting for a 3-year payment method will have to pay Rs 36,372 as against the monthly count which comes at Rs 46,764 So they essentially save Rs 10,392.
The BSNL 22GB CUL broadband plan also brings with it a host of benefits. Customers opting for this plan get an email address and 1GB free cloud storage. Customers also get the option to purchase one static IP address by paying Rs 2000 annually. Users must note that they will have to pay a security deposit for the IP address and that it will be provided to them on request.
BSNL also provides a rent-free landline connection with the broadband plan for unlimited calling benefits. It offers free unlimited calls on any network for Local and STD calls within India.
BSNL has noted that the existing customers who had opted for the 20GB broadband plan at Rs 1199 have automatically been migrated to the 22GB CUL plan from July 1 and those who were already subscribed with yearly payments may issue the bills from ISP with balance rental charges.
