BSNL new prepaid voucher offers 3G or 4G data at Rs 365 for 365 days, short-term vouchers for 4G data available

BSNL has rolled out its new recharge prepaid plan at Rs 365 for a validity of 365 days. Users can now benefit 3G/4G data. However, the benefits come at a price after 60 days. The telco has introduced STVs for 4G plans which you should consider.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the government-owned telco has come up with a new recharge prepaid voucher (PV) at Rs 365. The voucher comes with a validity of 365 days. Read on to find out more:

The users of this pack will get the benefit of high-speed 3G or 4G daily data. The limit to the usage of this high speed internet of 3G or 4G is 2GB after which the speed will reduce to 80 Kbps. This has a validity of 60 days. The PV will offer free 100 SMSes for 60 days. The users will also benefit unlimited local, national and roaming calls with a limit of 250 minutes per day, again for 60 days.

If the users get this recharge pack within a window of 60 days starting from March 9, then they will also get the benefit of Personal Ring Back Tone (PRBT). But this will be only applicable if they get their recharge done through the online portal or CtopUp.

PRBT will not be applicable if it is done through SMS or USSD. The telco's official website mentioned that with the recharge, the subscribers will get a free Lokdhun contest.

After 60 days of free usage of 100 SMSes per day, and 250 calls per day for 60 days, the tariff charges will be as such:

After the users run out of free SMSes, they will have to pay Rs 0.8p for local SMSes, Rs 1.2 for STD and Rs 5 for international.

For calls, after the free services have been exhausted, the tariff will come at Rs 1 per minute for local calls and for STD, they will come at Rs 1.3 per minute for any network. Users must note that this PV can be used in all circles in India.

For internet data, after the validity of 60 days, the tariff charges come at Rs 0.25 per mb.

Apart from this, the telco has mentioned that it gives 4G data Short Term Vouchers (STVs) for free data usage.

The STVs introduced by the telco for 4G data under Rs 200 are as follows:

For a recharge of Rs 56, users will get 1.5 GB per day for a validity of 14 days. For a voucher of Rs 187, users get 3GB data per day for a validity of 28 days with 100 free SMSes for a validity of 28 days. A plan of Rs 153 will give the user 1.5 GB per day with unlimited calls and 100 SMSes for a validity of 28 days.
