- Realme is working on two new truly wireless earbuds already.
- Two new smartwatches from Realme could also be in works.
- We are not sure when these four products will hit the market.
Realme usually keeps itself busy with a slew of product launches throughout the year. Its smartphone launches are short-gapped, so much so that it sometimes becomes hard to keep a track of what is launching when. But that is a good thing for Realme since it gets to stay relevant, catch up with the trends, and maintain a healthy run in the market. We are now looking at the Realme 7 launch set to take place next month in India but you may be surprised to know that there are many products that are in the works already. Let us talk about what you can expect from Realme in the coming days.
In a 91Mobiles report, Realme is said to be working on two new truly wireless earbuds. Patents found on the CNIPA website have shown one pair of TWS earbuds to follow the AirPods Pro design while the other pair could go for the petite in-ear pod-shaped look. The first one could be the long-rumoured Realme Buds Air Pro that will sit above the existing ones and offer active noise cancellation that the company has talked about in length previously. The patent shows there will be a long stem with the microphone on each earbud and that they will have silicone ear tips for a better grip and to allow for passive noise isolation.
Another set of truly wireless earbuds have also been spotted in diagrams in the patent at CNIPA. These are more like the Buds Q earbuds that were introduced in India recently but will have an angular design. These earbuds will also have silicone ear tips but whether they will have noise cancellation of any sorts is something that is not clear at the moment. Realme might begin teasing them towards their tentative launch.
Moving on to the next product, Realme could be working on two different smartwatches. The patents for these smartwatches were found on the CNIPA website and they show what Realme may have planned for its next wearables. One of the smartwatches in the patents shows a design that is similar to the Realme Watch that is available for Rs 2,999. But there are some differences, such as the smaller display, change in the physical button's position, and the design of the sensor bump that is square-shaped now.
The second smartwatch from Realme could go for one of those retro looks that some previous-generation smartphones had. There will be two tones on the front with the display forming one part. Instead of the button, there could be a crown on the smartwatch -- which means there could be some functionalities assigned to it. The footprint of the smartwatch also looks a little similar to the one we have in markets right now.
The first smartwatch has the push-to-fit strap while the second has a buckle strap, but we are not expecting them to be actually a differentiating factor since Realme used different straps on the first-generation Realme Watch for different markets. The one in India has the buckle strap but the one in China has the other one. So, let us see what Realme has in store for us.
