Huawei is set to launch its FreeBuds 3 in India later this month. The information comes courtesy of noted tipster, Ishan Agarwal who revealed that these buds which were introduced last year at IFA 2019 would finally be making their way to India.

The FreeBuds 3 are a set of truly wireless buds which feature open-fit active noise cancellation. The earbuds come in a case that packs a 410mAh battery and could flaunt a price tag around Rs 10k in India as the global pricing of the earbuds is $199.

The FreeBuds 3 appear to be launched by the company to take on the competition provided by Apple which currently has the AirPods line-up of truly wireless earbuds in the market.

The new earbuds by Huawei sport an in-ear design and come with a circular charging case that supports wireless charging. Over and above the 410mAh battery-powered charging case, the earbuds come with a 30mAh cell which the company claims help them offer four hours of playback on a single charge.

The Huawei FreeBuds 3 come powered by the Kirin A1 chipset and sport the Isochronous dual-channel Bluetooth connection technology which implements a combination of BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and Bluetooth 5.1 in a dual-mode connection for ensuring low latency and improved power consumption.

Additionally, the device also gets touch-sensitive controls, with the stem on the Huawei FreeBuds 3 coming with the capability to be interacted with to skip tracks, change the volume, and toggle ANC and more. The buds are supposed to last for 4 hours on a single charge, along with an additional 16 hours in the case. The case can be charged over USB Type-C or wirelessly.

Other features of the Huawei FreeBuds 3 include the bone voice sensor that picks up the user's voice through bone vibrations and Aerodynamic Mic Duct design to suppress the wind to make voice calls loud and clear as well.

While there is no confirmation as of now, the Huawei FreeBuds 3 are expected to be made available in three colours in India, including White, Black, and Red.
