IQOO 3 launched in India: Price specifications and features

The IQOO 3 has some of the flagship specifications, including a Snapdragon 865 SoC and support for 5G.

After weeks of leaks and teasers, IQOO has finally launched its latest smartphone in India, the IQOO 3. The smartphone has been launched in the country after a long wait, with the device maker announcing the phone as its first offering in the country's already crowded premium segment of the market.

The phone has been made available in three colours with the company also launching a 5G version of the device. But apart from 5G, there's a lot that's going on for the IQOO 3, with 48-megapixel lens-based quad-camera also forming the base of the device's core specs.

Here's a look at what the device offers in terms of specs and features.

IQOO 3: Specs

Display: The IQOO 3 comes with a 6.4-inch display that has a 180Hz Super Touch Response rate, which the company claims, improves the overall gaming experience.

Chipset: Snapdragon 865 with 5G enabled on the top-end variant of the device.

RAM: 8GB or 12GB depending on the variant of choice

Storage: The phone comes with either 128GB or 256GB of storage

Rear cameras: For cameras, the IQOO 3 gets a quad-camera set-up which includes a 48-megapixel main sensor sat next to a 13-megapixel telephoto unit with 10x Zoom, a 13-megapixel super wide-angle lens with 120-degree FoV and a 2-megapixel macro and bokeh camera.

Front camera: For selfies, the device also houses a 13-megapixel lens.

Battery: The device packs a 4400mAh battery with 55W fast charging.

Operating system: IQOO 3 comes with the company's in-house IQOO OS 1.0.

IQOO 3: Features

There's a lot going for the IQOO 3. The device comes with a massive 4400mAh battery that helps it last easily a day on a single charge. The battery also comes supporting 55W fast charging support that helps it top up 50 per cent in around 30 minutes.

Apart from this, the phone's camera set-up is also a big plus for the device. The IQOO 3 comes with a 48-megapixel based quad-camera set-up.

IQOO 3: Price

The IQOO 3 has been launched in India in two memory variants for the 4G variant. The entry-level device gets 128GB of storage, while the higher-end variant brings 256GB of memory. Both variants also differ ever so slightly in RAM allocation with the former getting 8GB of RAM, while the latter getting 12GB read-only memory.

The two also differ slightly when it comes to price, with the higher memory variant retailing for Rs 39,999, while the entry-level model has been announced to start retail at Rs 36,999.

The 5G variant of the device will only be available in a single variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. It has been priced at Rs 44,999. All the variants of the phone will be available in three colours.
