  • iQOO 7 is all set for launch on January 11.
  • iQOO 7 will feature a Snapdragon 888 SoC.
  • iQOO 7 could sport a 120Hz display.

Earlier in the week IQOO had confirmed the launch of the iQOO 7 on January 11 in China and now ahead of the launch date, the phone has been seen on benchmarking site, AnTuTu where the Snapdragon 888-powered device has been seen with a score of 752,935 points. Interestingly, this is 17,496 more than what the Snapdragon 888 scored on a reference device with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.0 storage onboard.

The iQOO 7 in the benchmark result is shown to sport the same amount of RAM but a slightly lower amount of storage at 256GB. What's of more interest is that the unit seen benchmarked is most likely a prototype and not running the final build of the software, as such, we can expect even much better performance from the consumer-ready iQOO 7 once its launched to the world.

The AnTuTu benchmark of the iQOO 7 also reveals that the phone will come packing a 120Hz screen, but does not reveal its size. For now, not all details have been revealed about the device, but it has been confirmed that the device will come with 120W fast charging.

Earlier, the company had released a teaser, revealing the iQOO 7 BMW edition's official poster. The poster showed the phone's rear camera set-up and also revealed the interesting colour scheme of the special BMW version of the mobile.

The phone is also tipped to get a 4,000mAh battery. Apart from this, it has also been tipped to get triple cameras which will include a 48MP 1/1.2-inch primary sensor with OIS support. It is also speculated to feature an AMOLED display with a centered punch-hole and run iQOO UI inspired by OriginOS based on Android 11 out of the box.

While these details have not been confirmed yet, but with the phone launching on January 11, the wait for information about the device won't be too long as the leaks and rumors about it should start coming in more frequently in the days to come. Additionally, we can also expect some amount of official information to also start coming in about the device courtesy of official teasers of the phone. As always, we will follow all developments closely, so watch this space for all the latest on the iQOO 7.
