Chinese handset maker OnePlus' second smartphone, the OnePlus 2, will go on sale starting Tuesday. The smartphone will be sold exclusively through Amazon.in via an invite-only model starting 4 p.m. today. India is amongst the first few markets for the OnePlus 2 launch.
Announced on July 28, the company claims to have received more than 3 million registrations for the invite. For the first month of launch, OnePlus will send the invites to its early and most fervent supporters including the ones who registered for pop-up stores and fan meets. Others can participate in contests and promotions to receive an invite. The company has also created a new reservation list where people can register and will get an invite when the stock is available.
For those who have an invite, they can log on to oneplus.net/in or clink on the link given in the invite. After logging in with the OnePlus account, you need to click on 'OnePlus Account' and navigate to 'My Invites' and click on 'Claim New Invite'. Then you need to enter the invite code and hit the 'Claim' button.
