ZTE has launched its Nubia brand of handset in the Indian market with the introduction of Nubia Z9 Mini, which was unveiled in China a few months ago.
The Nubia Z9 Mini is an Android smartphone featuring a 5-inch full HD display.
It is powered by 64 bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5Ghz and paired with 2GB of RAM. The phone offers 16GB internal storage and supports expandable memory of up to 128GB.
It sports a 16 MP rear camera and is equipped with Sony IMX234 Exmor RS sensor along with LED flash, and f/2.0 aperture. There is an 8MP front-facing camera onboard.
It runs on Android Lollipop out of the box and has Nubia 3.0 UI. It packs in a 2900 mAh battery and offers WiFi, Bluetooth and LTE connectivity.
Felix Fu, Co-founder and Senior Vice President, Nubia, says, "We have plans to make several significant investments and undertake initiatives to establish Nubia as one of the most preferred among major global brands in India. Indian mobile phone users can expect us to surprise the Indian market with even more devices with high quality features at highly disruptive features to be launched further this year."
The Nubia Z9 Mini is priced at Rs 16,999 and joins the online-only model as it will be available exclusively on Amazon India. This new smartphone will receive completion from Xiaomi Mi 4 16GB and OnePlus One 16GB variant.
