The Lava Z2 Max features a 7-inch LCD display, Mediatek SoC, 13-megapixel dual rear cameras and a 6000mAh battery. This smartphone is aimed at students to support online education during this pandemic.

The Lava Z2 Max is made available in a sole 2GB/32GB variant priced at Rs 7,999. It comes in two colour options - Stroked Blue and a Stroked Cyan. Lava Z2 Max is available for purchase via the Lava website, Amazon, and Flipkart.

As far as the design of the Lava Z2 Max is concerned, the smartphone features a square camera module on the rear that holds dual cameras and a flash. The back panel is also striped to provide it with a distinct look. Whereas on the front, it gets a dew-drop notch display.

Moving further, the Lava Z2 Max sports a 7-inch HD+ display with a resolution of (720x1,640 pixels) and a pixel density of 258 PPI. The display is also protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, the phone is powered by an unknown MediaTek Helio chipset. This is coupled with 2GB of DDR4x RAM and 32GB of onboard storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via micro-SD.

In the camera department, the smartphone features a dual cameras setup on the rear consisting of a 13-megapixel primary shooter and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. On the front, it gets an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies.

In terms of connectivity, the Lava Z2 Max brings support for dual 4G-VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-Type C and a 3.5mm audio jack. This smartphone runs Android 10 (Go edition)

Finally, coming to the battery department, the Lava Z2 Max gets a massive 6000mAh battery. Sadly, there's no fast-charging support hence, the device takes almost 4 hours to completely charge. Lava claims that it can deliver 9 hours and 8 minutes of YouTube video playback on full brightness and loudspeaker.
