Courtesy of Leica Rumors, we know that the company will launch Leica Q2 Monochrom in the second half of November this year. Earlier, the camera was rumoured to make its way into the market in 2021. But the report confirms the November release for the Q2 Monochrom camera model. Leica Rumors is a trustworthy source but let us also tell you that the company has not made anything official yet.

If Leica Q2 Monochrom arrives, users will be able to click only black and white pictures. The Monochrom version of Leica Q2 will include a black and white sensor similar to Leica M10 Monochrom camera, and will feature a fixed lens system similar to Leica Q2 camera model.

Leica India unveiled Leica M10-R in July this year. The company also announced that Leica M10-R is the last camera of its M-series line-up. Thus, it is the time for Leica to expand its Q-series of cameras by adding Leica Q2 Monochrom.

Speaking of the latest release, Leica M10-R, where 'R' stands for resolution, features a 40-megapixel image sensor. Catching up with the pixel-race, the new M10-R boasts massive 16 million pixels. Leica also claims that the M10-R will not compromise in low-light conditions when compared to its predecessors. The M10-R camera model is priced at Rs 6,95,000 in India.
