LG has launched a new smartphone to its Q-series. Called the LG Q51, the mid-ranger comes with specifications such as a MediaTek Helio P22 processor and three cameras at the back. The USP of the smartphone is essentially its compliance for the MIL-STD-810G standard for durability. The LG Q51 has, however, been launched only in the South Korean market and the company has not said anything on whether this smartphone will make its way to other markets as well.
LG Q51 Price
The LG Q51 is priced at KRW 317,000, which translates to approximately Rs 18,700 in India. It comes in two colour options - Moonlight Titanium and Frozen White. The sale is tipped to have already started for the smartphone in South Korea via LG Uplus, SK Telecom, and KT carriers, which are also exclusive for the sale. As we said, there is no way to know if the LG Q51 is coming to India and other markets.
LG Q51 Specifications
The LG Q51 is a mid-range smartphone that touts a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display that sports a V-shaped notch. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded via microSDXC card. It runs Android 10-based LG's skin on top. The LG Q51 is compliant with the MIL-STD-810G military standard for smartphone durability. The smartphone has a dedicated Google Assistant button on the left side.
In the photography department, the LG Q51 has three cameras at the back - a 13-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The main sensor supports video recording up to 1080p with PDAF. On the front, the LG Q51 has a 13-megapixel selfie camera with LG's features - residing inside the notch.
The LG Q51 is backed by 4000mAh battery. The smartphone has stereo speakers that are placed on the front. As for the connectivity, the LG Q51 comes with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, dual-frequency GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is also a USB-C port for charging the smartphone.
