It is no secret that Xiaomi is working on its next big software release, the MIUI 12. The software went into development only a few months ago, and earlier last month the company even redirected all its developers to work on the upcoming MIUI 12 skin.
Now, fresh information has emerged about the software, with the entire list of devices set to receive the update in the first batch now being leaked on the web. Here's a look at the leaked list of Xiaomi smartphones that might be receiving the MIUI 12 update.
As per the list, the next-generation software is set to be extended to a number of smartphones, including the company's latest flagship models the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. There is also confirmation that the software will be available on the Mi 9, Mi 9 SE and Mi 9 Pro. Apart from this, other devices getting the update are the Mi 8, the Mi CC9 Pro, Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e. The update has also been tipped to be made available to the Mi MIX 3, Mi MIX 2S and Mi MIX 2 as well.
Interestingly, the update will also be extended to Redmi smartphones too, with the Redmi K series phones being among the first smartphones to get the update. One of the first phones from the series will be the flagships, Redmi K30 series phones. They will be followed by the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro.
Apart from this, Redmi models such as the Redmi 8 Pro, Redmi Note 8, Redmi 7 Pro, Redmi Note 7, Redmi 8, Redmi 8A, Redmi 7 and the Redmi 7A are also tipped to get this new MIUI 12 update.
