- Moti G8B will be priced around EUR 189.99
Ahead of the launch, a lot of pictures of Moto G8 Power Lite along with its specs and price have surfaced on the internet. The leaked images appeared on Italian publication HDblog. The leaks reveal that the Moto G8 Power Lite will be launched sometime in April and it will be priced around EUR 189.99. Now, while the launch date is supposed to be somewhere in the middle of April, do understand that this is a global launch date and not for India, and that even this may get pushed because of the current Covid-19 epidemic.
Interestingly, this is not the first time the pictures of Moto G8 Power Lite have surfaced online. The earlier leak showed the G8 Power Lite with a display camera hole, while the latest images show the phone with a display notch.
In terms of look, the Moto G8 Power Lite looks pretty similar to its elder sibling Moto G8 Power with one camera less at the rear. The Moto G8 Power Lite has a triple camera setup at the rear which is vertically aligned. The logo of Motorola is also placed in the centre which is rumoured to double up as a fingerprint sensor.
Moto G8 Power Lite specifications and camera
As per the leaks, the Moto G8 Power Lite will feature a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720X1600 pixels. The phone will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The Moto G8 houses a massive 5000 mAh battery which comes with support for 10W Turbocharge wired charging.
There is nothing official about these leaks so far but the rumours do align with the expectations consumers may have from the G8 Power Lite.
In terms of the camera, the Moto G8 Power lite will likely feature a triple camera setup on the rear which would reportedly comprise of a 16-megapixel primary camera, along with 8-megapixel shooter, and an 8-megapixel or 2-megapixel camera sensor. Coming to the front camera, the exact specs are not known but instead of being inside a punch-hole cutout, the camera screen is going to be in a waterdrop-style notch.
The images by HDblog reveal that the Moto G8 Power Lite will have a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top and a speaker grill on the back panel of the phone. Moto G8 Power Lite will likely run on Android 10 and will be available for sale in Italy first, something which is also doubtful at the moment given the Covid-19 in that country. The phone is a mid-ranger so the price in India is expected to be around Rs 15,000 or less.
