Motorola might launch the Moto G9 Plus sooner than expected. The upcoming smartphone has now appeared on Google Play Console listing along with it, more leaks have surfaced online. Motorola unveiled its budget warrior Moto G9 in India and several other countries a couple of days ago. The Moto G9 Plus will reportedly be a more feature-loaded version of the G9.
As per the Google Play listing, the Moto G9 Plus will reportedly be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and expandable memory. If the speculations turn out to be true, it will be a major upgrade over the G9's Snapdragon 662, which is the smartphone in India to house that chipset.
The listing on Google Play also gives a glimpse of Moto G9 Plus's design. Upon taking a close look, you will notice the display with a punch-hole cutout on the top. Earlier, it was being said that the G9 Plus would come with a waterdrop notch display but the new leaks have debunked the previous reports.
Apart from this, the previous leaks have hinted that the Moto G9 Plus will arrive with a 6.81-inch FHD+ LTPS display with a resolution of 2400x1080. The smartphone is expected to be driven by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage which can be expanded using a microSD card. The smartphone will run on Android 10 out of the box and will provide a stock android experience.
In the camera department, the Moto G9 Plus is expected to bring major upgrades over the Moto G9. The G9 Plus will reportedly feature a quad-camera setup on the rear comprising of a 64-megapixel primary camera along with other sensors including the macro and depth sensor. Interestingly, the Moto G9 features a triple rear camera with a 48-megapixel sensor as the primary camera.
In terms of the battery, the Moto G9 Plus will reportedly house a 5000mAh battery with support for fast charging. The smartphone measures in at 170.0 x 78.1 x 9.7mm and weigh 223g. For connectivity, it will support 4G, Bluetooth 5.0, VoLTE, and Wi-Fi. The G9 Plus will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as opposed to G9's rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Moto G9 Plus will likely arrive in blue color. The device is rumored to be priced around Eur 235 ( Roughly Rs 20,000).
