Motorola has been working on a lot of new phones that are codenamed Nio, Capri and Ibiza. As per the latest report, Motorola's smartphone which is codenamed Ibiza has been spotted on Geekbench. Now coming to the Motorola smartphone which has been codenamed Ibiza. The smartphone with the model number XT2137-2 has appeared on Geekbench. The listing reveals that the smartphone will run on the latest Android 11 and will be powered by the Snapdragon 480 chipset which is Qualcomm's cheapest 5G chipset. The listing also revealed that the smartphone will come with 6GB of RAM. So far only the Vivo Y31s and Oppo A93 5G have been launched with the Snapdragon 480 chipset.
As far as the scores on Geekbench are concerned, Motorola managed to 2,466 points in the single-core test and 6,223 points in the multi-core test. The higher the score, the better is the performance of the processor. For connectivity, the smartphone is said to come with dual-band Wi-Fi.
Previously, the Capri and Capri have also appeared on Geekbench. However, Motorola has not shared any official information about the phones.
Last month, Motorola unveiled its flagship device, Edge S, with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870. The device has gone on sale in China and so far over 10,000 units of the Motorola Edge S smartphone have been sold.
As far as specs are concerned, Motorola Edge S features a 6.7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2520×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The smartphone comes with support for HDR10. Instead of a rear-mounted scanner, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The processor is the latest by Qualcomm and it is being touted as the upgraded version of the Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC. The Edge S houses a 5,000mAh battery with support for 20W fast charge.
In terms of optics, the Motorola Edge S features a square-shaped camera island that houses four camera sensors. The camera island includes a 64MP primary sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle macro sensor, a 2MP portrait depth-of-field sensor, and a ToF stereoscopic depth sensor. On the front, there is a 6-megapixel and 8-megapixel camera sensors for better selfies. The camera comes with various features including six-axis image stabilization, macro video, audio zoom and video spot colour mode among others.
