- OnePlus's Warp Charge 30 wireless charger price has leaked online
- In India, the wireless charger could sell for Rs 3,990
- It is the first wireless charging accessory by the company
OnePlus recently launched two new smartphones -- the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro -- in India. Along with the phones, the company also added two new accessories to its list of products. Of the two, the first was a new pair of wireless earphones while the other is a wireless charging dock that can juice up the OnePlus 8 Pro's beefy battery by 50 per cent in just 30 minutes.
Over the last few days, the company has announced the price of most of these products, and now, it could be close to announcing the price of the wireless charging dock too. The accessory retails for $70 in the US or 70 in Europe. However, in India, it could be available at a more competitive, Rs 3990.
The information comes courtesy of tipster Ishan Agarwal, who shared the leak with his followers on Twitter.
Of all the OnePlus phones, the accessory is currently only available with the OnePlus 8 Pro. With support for the charger, the OnePlus 8 Pro becomes the first OnePlus smartphone to get a wireless charging solution.
The charging dock is rated to provide 30W of peak power wirelessly to supported phones such as the OnePlus 8 Pro. OnePlus says at this peak output, the charging dock can fill up the 4510mAh battery of the phone by 50 per cent in just half an hour.
Unsurprisingly, however, much like its wired charging tech, the wireless version of the technology included with the OnePlus 8 Pro will come with some bottlenecks. For example, while both the phone and charging dock come with support for transfer of 30W wireless power delivery, the phone will not allow the transfer of anything over 5W over the Qi wireless standard and 10W over the faster EPP standard.
Apart from the wireless charger, the company has also launched another accessory this year -- Bullets Wireless Z. These are OnePlus' latest wireless earphones which come with some visual improvements over their predecessor. The design appears almost identical but OnePlus' new Bullets are available in four colours this time. They come in multiple colors options: black, blue, mint and oat. The earphones also have a neckband design.
Apart from this the Bullets Wireless Z comes with the promise of a quick 10-minute charge and are also quite lightweight and compact. They promise music playback for up to 10 hours with a 10-minute charge, while a full charge is claimed to provide up to 20 hours of battery life.
