- Oppo A32 is the latest smartphone to launch in China.
- It is essentially a rebranded version of the Oppo A53.
- Oppo A53 debuted in Indonesia and later made it to India a few weeks back.
Oppo has launched the A32 in China. It is not a new smartphone. Oppo has repackaged the A53 and named it A32 but only for the Chinese market. The A53 launched in India a few days back after it debuted in Indonesia but maybe it Oppo wanted to rejig its line-up in China. The Oppo A32 is identical to A53 in terms of specifications but there is a different colour variant for this one.
Oppo A32 Price
The Oppo A32 costs CNY 1,199 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant and CNY 1,499 for the model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It comes in blue, black, and green colourways wherein the last one is exclusive to China. I am sure buyers in China will miss having the Pearl White colour variant.
Oppo A32 Specifications
The Oppo A32 is a mid-range smartphone. It runs Android 10-based ColorOS 7.2 and has a fingerprint sensor at the back. The Oppo A32 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of memory, which is expandable via a microSD card of up to 256GB. The smartphone has a 6.5-inch 720p LCD that supports 90Hz refresh rate and features a punch-hole.
This punch-hole has a 16-megapixel front-facing shooter while at the back of it are three cameras packed inside a large, rectangular island. There is a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera that shoots from 4 cm up close. The Oppo A32 is backed by a 5000mAh battery, which is pretty huge and rivals those on the likes of Redmi phones. It also supports the 18W fast charging, something that is becoming very common on budget and mid-range devices these days. For connectivity, you have a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port, besides Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 4G VoLTE.
Realme has already begun pushing 5G handsets to the budget and mid-range in China. So I am assuming Oppo might follow the trail and launch its own affordable 5G handsets soon.
