Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro are getting ready for their global launch and a fresh piece of information might have indicated it will be soon. Launched in China last month, the Reno 4 series will enter markets such as India but rather with a distinction. While the exact launch timeline of the Reno 4 series is unknown at the moment, it has passed certification websites that surely hint their global debut is nigh.

The global versions of the Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro have appeared on the TUV Rheinland, Wi-Fi Alliance, and Bluetooth SIG certification websites. Normally, smartphones are put up for certifications when they are about to launch in a particular market. Furthermore, the three certifications the Reno 4 series has received are valid for different global markets, which means both smartphones from Oppo will debut in more than one country outside of China now.

Per the certification listings, the global version of the Oppo Reno 4 will be close to identical with its Chinese counterpart -- without many differences. The Reno 4 Pro, on the other hand, will be tweaked to suit the global customers. The listings have suggested it will have a 120Hz display instead of the 90Hz one on the China variant.

The latest information happens to iterate the earlier leaks and tips. Earlier this week, the Oppo Reno 4 Pro was said to come with changes in the display for the Indian market. While the leaks did not specify what these changes are going to be, we speculated Oppo could go for a bump in the refresh rate to pit the Reno 4 Pro against its cheaper rival, including the Poco X2, which has a 120Hz display and costs Rs 18,499. The Reno 4 Pro, however, will likely be targeted at the mid-range -- somewhere between Rs 20,000 and Rs 30,000 in India. Oppo will need to do justice to the price category, hence, the changes in specifications.

The Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro could also retain their 5G connectivity in India, which will only be enabled later with an OTA update. Both Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor with up to 12GB of RAM. The smartphones have 4000mAh batteries under the hood and a quad-rear camera setup, which includes a 48-megapixel main sensor. There is an in-display 32-megapixel camera on the smartphones. The Reno 4 has a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel while the Reno 4 Pro has a 6.55-inch AMOLED panel, both with 90Hz for the Chinese version.
