The Oppo Reno 6 series has been in the news for quite some time. We have heard that the lineup will bring three devices altogether - Oppo Reno 6, Oppo Reno 6 Pro and Oppo Reno 6 Pro+. These upcoming devices have been spotted on various certification websites hinting towards an imminent launch. Some other reports also say that the Oppo Reno 6 series will make way on May 22 this month.
Recently, the Oppo Reno 6 Pro and the Oppo Reno 6 Pro+ appeared on the TENNA listing, revealing these devices' images and specs. From what we can see, the design seems to be similar to the Reno 5 series.
Since this is Oppo's high-end midrange offering, we may see some beefy processors inside. Leaked specs suggest that the Oppo Reno 6 Pro will be powered by Meditek's Dimensity 1200 SoC, whereas the Oppo Reno 6 Pro+ with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset.

Oppo Reno 6 specs and features
--Oppo Reno 6 series has been certified on 3C, MIIT, TEENA and SIRIM, so it's pretty clear that the launch is not too far away. If the leaks are to be believed, the lineup will be launched on May 22.
--The TENNA listing reveals the complete design of the Oppo Reno 6 Pro and Oppo Reno 6 Pro+, both of which look akin. Unlike the previous iterations, the camera module appears to be less rounded, similar to what we have seen on the Note 20 series. Whereas on the front, both these devices feature a punch-hole camera on the top left corner of the display.
--Further, the listing details that the Oppo Reno 6 Pro and Oppo Reno 6 Pro+ are codenamed PEPM00 and PENM00, respectively. While the Oppo Reno 6 Pro measures 160x73.1x7.6mm, the Oppo Reno 6 Pro+ comes in at 160.8x72.5x7.99mm. Both these devices will feature a 6.55-inch display that will possibly make use of super AMOLED and 90Hz high refresh rate tech.
--The Oppo Reno 6 is supposed to ship with Mediatek's Dimensity 1200 SoC. It is an octa-core chipset built on a 6nm manufacturing process and clocked at 3GHz. On the flip side, the Oppo Reno 6 Pro+ may ship with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 870 SoC. This is also an octa-core SoC built on a 7nm manufacturing process and clocked at 3.2GHz.
--In the camera department, both the Reno 6 Pro and Reno 6 Pro+ are tipped to sport a different camera setup. The Oppo Reno 6 Pro is supposed to feature a quad-camera setup consisting of a 64-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel depth shooter and another 2-megapixel macro sensor. Whereas the Oppo Reno 6 Pro+ may come with a 50-megapixel primary lens, 16-megapixel ultrawide shooter, a 13-megapixel telephoto lens and a 2-megapixel depth shooter. As far as the selfie shooter is concerned, both these smartphones will come with a 32-megapixel sensor on the front.
--Apart from this, these smartphones are tipped to feature 4500mAh batteries with support for 65W fast charging. The Oppo Reno 6 Pro and the Oppo Reno 6 Pro+ should get in-display fingerprint scanners for authentication. Also, both these devices are tipped to be 5G capable.
