- The company has confirmed its launch date to be the June 25
- The price for these Truly Wireless earbuds is expected to be at around Rs 2,999
Smartphone manufacturer Oppo is all set to launch its latest W11 Bluetooth earbuds in India. The company has confirmed its launch date to be the June 25, for India.
Meanwhile e-commerce website Flipkart has already put up a microsite in anticipation of the launch, that also shares much of the new device's specifications.
Shown in a glossy, compact, and white encasing the newest pair would come in a IP55 water and dust resistant design. It is not immediately clear if the earbuds would come in any other colours. At the back these would have touch controls for playing, pausing, activating voice assistants, taking calls and much of the usual. A mic is also built into the two earbuds, with support for background noise cancellation particularly during calls.
With AAC codec support and the Bluetooth version 5.0, Oppo promises "less latency" and a more "stable connection" with W11 earbuds. Meanwhile inside it will have 8mm drivers for "enhanced bass" notes. The battery life on these truly wireless earbuds could go up to 5 hours on a single charge with 20 hours on the whole through its charging case.
The price for these Truly Wireless earbuds is expected to be at around Rs 2,999. This is a slight cause for joy being cheaper than the company's last Enco W31 TWS earbuds which retailed at Rs 3,999 with 7mm drivers and 15 hours of playtime.
Last month, the company had also launched the Oppo Enco M31 wireless neckband earphones at Rs 1,999 in India. These featured 9.2mm drivers, with support Bluetooth 5.0 as well as LDAC sound output.
With the growing anti-chinese products sentiment, it is only to be seen how the latest pair of earbuds are received by the otherwise tech-loving Indian consumers.
