- The Poco F2 Pro has been launched in Europe, starting at Euro 499.
- You get Snapdragon 865, up to 256GB storage and a 60Hz AMOLED display on this one.
- Poco may not bring the F2 Pro to the Indian market.
If you missed it before somehow, here's a recap. Poco is back on the global scene with its F series and the first phone to launch in Europe this year is the Poco F2 Pro. Prices start at Euro 499 for the base variant but one look at the specifications sheet and it becomes clear that there's nothing base-like about it. The F2 Pro is by all intents and purposes a flagship-grade phone that does not ask for flagship-grade money.
For our more informed readers, the Poco F2 Pro is essentially a rebadged Redmi K30 Pro. The specifications and even the colours remain unchanged, save for the Poco badge. That's not a bad thing though, given that the K30 Pro is a very powerful phone, at least on paper. There are rumours that the K30 Pro will make it to India too, but not as a Poco device. Redmi is said to bring the K30 Pro as its flagship offering for 2020, succeeding the Redmi K20 Pro from last year.
If you are a Poco fan and want to know more about the F2 Pro, we have listed everything that this Poco flagship has to offer.

Poco F2 Pro features and specialities:
-Poco has made it alive to 2020 with a rebadging business strategy. Back in February 2020, India got the Poco X2 that was essentially a Redmi K30 4G underneath. With the Poco F2 Pro, it's the same case. The F2 Pro is just a renamed Redmi K30 Pro from China, a phone that was announced last month.
-Although a rebadged phone, the Poco F2 Pro isn't by any means underwhelming, at least on paper. The F2 Pro offers the same Snapdragon 865 chip that you see on top-tier phones at sky-high prices this year. This chip is accompanied by UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM. Thus, there's no stopping the Poco F2 Pro in terms of hardware.
-Similar to previous Xiaomi phones, the Poco F2 Pro runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 10. MIUI is one of the most popular custom Android iterations, offering hundreds of UI customisations and performance tweaks. Poco is shipping the phone with its Poco Launcher 2.0, which is essentially MIUI with an app drawer.
-Compared to the Poco F1, the Poco F2 Pro looks and feels premium. Gone are the plastic bodies and in its place is now a suave and smooth glass body that's held together by a metallic frame. The display also loses the bulbous notch, this offering an uninterrupted viewing experience, similar to the Redmi K20 Pro.
-The Poco F2 Pro is also one of the very few premium phones this year to offer a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC and an IR Blaster.
-The 64-megapixel main camera is the same one as the unit on the Poco X2. With the superior ISP on the Snapdragon 865, you can expect better imaging performance. Poco says the low-light performance is on par with what you see on phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S20 and OnePlus 8 Pro.
-Sadly, the Poco X2 Pro misses out on a high refresh rate display. You get a standard 60Hz AMOLED panel with a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. This is slightly weird as the much cheaper Poco X2 gets a 120Hz refresh rate display.
Poco F2 Pro price and availability
The Poco F2 Pro comes in four colours and two storage variants. You get the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage, costing Euro 499. For Euro 599, you can get the Poco F2 Pro with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone is currently available only in Europe and one can order it from AliExpress or GearBest.
Poco F2 Pro India launch
Is the phone launching in India? Yes and No. Poco won't launch the F2 Pro in India although there are rumours of the Poco F2 being an India-first launch. Parent company Xiaomi will bring this same phone to India as the Redmi K30 Pro, replacing the Redmi K20 Pro.
