Poco recently launched its most affordable smartphone in India to date, the Poco M2. And now, the phone is all set to go on its first sale later todayat 12pm via Flipkart. Poco's latest phone will be up for grabs in three RAM and storage variants.
The company has announced that the Poco M2 Pro will start retail at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant. The 6GB/64GB one will retail for Rs 14,999 while the top-of-the-line 6GB/128GB variant will be sold for Rs 16,999. All three variants have been announced to be made available in three different colours -- Two Shades of Black, Out of the Blue and Green and Greener.
Since it's the first sale for the device, Flipkart is bringing the Poco M2 Pro with some discounts. As such, interested buyers can get their hands on the device with a 5 percent unlimited cashback on Flipkart Axis Bank credit card and 5 percent off with Axis Bank Buzz credit card. The e-commerce portal is also offering no-cost EMI plans for up to 12 months.
Poco M2 Pro: Specifications and features
For the price, the Poco M2 Pro brings some solid specs to the table. The Poco M2 Pro has been announced to bring a 6.67-inch 20:9 FHD+ punch-hole display that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The phones's body also comes with P2i Nano-coating, splash and dust resistant. Under the hood, there's a Snapdragon 720G Octa-core processor paired to up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The cameras on-board look very much like the ones we've already seen on the Redmi Note 9 Pro. This is because the device gets a quad-camera set-up that not only looks like the Redmi Note 9 Pro's from the outside but is also the same when it comes to the hardware.
As such, the phone gets a 48-megapixel main camera on the back -- the same Samsung ISOCELL GM2 seen on the Redmi Note 9 Pro. Complementing this primary lens is an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, 5-megapixel macro sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. The cameras come with Pro Colour Mode, Pro Video Mode, RAW Mode, LOG Mode. The front camera of the phone is a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling.
Keeping the lights on the device is a 5,000mAh battery pack, which can be topped up real fast using the phone's 33W fast charging. Connectivity options on the phone could include 4G LTE, dual SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, and GPS.
