- Poco M3 is set for a global launch on November 24.
- The phone is expected to get a 6000mAh battery.
- The device is also tipped to get a 6.53-inch display.
Poco teased the launch of its new phone, the Poco M3 yesterday. The device was teased by both the company's global Twitter page and its product manager, and global spokesperson, Angus Kai Ho Ng, who had gone ahead and officially teased the arrival of a new phone yesterday.
The phone is scheduled to be launched first in global markets, with the launch event set to be live-streamed on November 24 through the company's social media channels. Following the confirmation of the Poco M3, tipster Mukul Sharma has shared some specifications of the upcoming device.
Poco M3: Key specification
As per the new leak about the phone, the POCO M3 will bear a model number M2010J19CG -- something that was also spotted in a Geekbench benchmark listing. The new leak by the tipster not only confirms the model number but also adds that the POCO M3 will come running the Snapdragon 662 chipset.
The leak also claims that the device will come powered by a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Apart from this, the tipster has also claimed that the POCO M3 will come with a 6.53-inch display with a waterdrop notch. At the back, the phone could come with a triple camera system that will house a primary 48-megapixel sensor. Apart from this, however, the leak mentions nothing about the other lenses of the phone. As for the rest, the phone could get stereo speakers for music and other audio.
Interestingly, these specifications hint that the Poco M3 could be a rebrand of the upcoming Redmi 10 phone that is expected to be launched in China in the coming days. Previously, we've seen leaks about the device which have claimed that the phone will measure 162.29 x 77.24x9.6mm and weigh 198 grams.
As for the other specifications, it could come with upto 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The phone could come with Android 10 OS and a microSD card slot. Since this is also a phone that's not been launched yet, we're awaiting the full details about the device.
But with the launch date of the Poco M3 just around the corner and the Poco M3 set for a launch on November 24, more details about the device will emerge in the coming days and it would also be made clear if the device is indeed a rebrand of a Redmi phone or not.
