- Realme 6 has now been spotted on the Flipkart Affiliate database.
- This indicates that Realme 6 series could debut soon in India.
- The Realme series may also have Realme 6s, Realme 6i, and Realme 6 Pro.
Realme is apparently gearing up to launch another series in India. There have been umpteen rumours centring around Realme's upcoming smartphone, called the Realme 6, revealing one too many details, such as a MediaTek Helio G90 processor and Android 10. But these leaks never pointed out at when Realme 6 will launch - until now. The Redmi 6 has now been allegedly spotted on the Flipkart Affiliate database, hinting at an imminent launch in India. Previously, a Realme device bearing the model number RMX2061 also cropped up on India's BIS website, which, we guess, could be the Realme 6 being prepared for the launch.
A Twitter user who goes by @stufflistings managed to screenshot what looks like a database on the Flipkart Affiliate website. The database mentions many Realme smartphones, including the Realme 6 towards the end, pointing at an impending debut of the smartphone. The Realme 6 has also been ostensibly certified on India's standards website BIS with the model name RMX2061. There were three more Realme devices with model numbers RMX2020, RMX2030, and RMX2040 that appeared alongside. While the Realme 6 could be one of the four models, another certification listing strongly hints at the RMX2061 model. The same model was also spotted on Singapore's IMDA website a few days back.
If we are to go by these two pieces of information, Realme 6 could launch soon in more than one country. Of course, India will be one of the markets that will see the unveiling of the successor of the Realme 5 series. Since the RMX2061 model name is highly anticipated to be that of Realme 6 - owing to the biggest number at the end - the other three could belong to Realme 6i, Realme 6 Pro, and Realme 6s. Another scenario could be where the RMX2061 model belongs to the Realme 6 Pro while the other three models are subsequently for Realme 6s, Realme 6i, and Realme 6.
Previously, Realme 6 was leaked in what is claimed is the photograph of the smartphone's retail box on SlashLeaks. The retail box mentions 'Penta Lens' on it, which could mean five cameras or fewer camera sensors with more lenses. The image also shows that the Realme 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 210 processor. We guess it could be for the low-end models under the series such as the Realme 6i or Realme 6s.
In any case, one thing we are sure about that Realme could launch multiple variants under the Realme 6 series.
For the specifications, the Realme 6 has been rumoured to come with the MediaTek Helio G90 processor. This could be true because the recently launched Realme C3 rocks a rather less powerful variant, the MediaTek Helio G70 processor. Moreover, the smartphone will be preloaded with Android 10-based Realme UI, along with dual-band Wi-Fi and support for dual SIM cards. The Realme 6 is also said to come with a punch-hole setup on the front. More details to follow.
