Realme 6i will be the next smartphone in the Realme 6 series that is set for launch on Tuesday, March 17 in Myanmar. The smartphone will likely be a budget smartphone with specifications including quad rear cameras, as revealed in some recent teasers. The Realme 6i will also be the first smartphone with a MediaTek Helio G80 processor. Now, a fresh teaser has confirmed the specifications of the front-facing camera on the Realme 6i. Here's everything that you should know ahead of tomorrow's launch of Realme 6i.
Realme 6i Processor
The Realme 6i has been teased to be the first smartphone to rock a MediaTek Helio G80 processor. It is a spruced-up version of the Helio G70 that was seen on the Realme C3 but it will most likely fit into the budget price segment. It has two Cortex-A75 cores with a clock speed at to 2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores with a maximum clock speed of 1.8GHz.
Realme 6i Cameras
Realme Myanmar has shared some teasers on its Facebook page that also divulge the camera specifications. The Realme 6i will come with a 48-megapixel primary sensor at the back, along with three other sensors, that specifications of which remains unknown at this point. A fresh teaser from the Facebook page of Realme Myanmar has confirmed there will be a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the Realme 6i. It is, however, not known if the front camera will reside inside a punch-hole setup or a notch on the display.
Realme 6i Battery
The Realme 6i will pack a 5000mAh battery under the hood, one of the teasers confirmed. The smartphone will also support 18W Quick Charge, which is claimed to be 38 per cent faster than the 10W fast charging method. The battery charging will be facilitated by a USB-C port on the Realme 6i.
Realme 6i Software, RAM, and Other Features
While the teasers have shared only so much information on the Realme 6i, its Geekbench listing that was spotted previously suggests that there will be at least 4GB of RAM. The Realme 6i is also said to run Android 10 out of the box, with Realme UI possibly. The Realme 6i also surfaced on the US FCC listing where it was confirmed that the smartphone has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
For now, the information on the Realme 6i is not available. The pricing and availability in other markets is also something that Realme will reveal on the launch date, i.e., March 17.
