- Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition has been launched in India.
- It sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor under the hood.
- It is the same price as the MediaTek version of C15.
Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition has launched in India on Wednesday. The launch comes ahead of the tentative timeline, which was the next two-three days from today according to a tipster. Besides, unlike the rumour that said the smartphone will launch as C15s, Realme is going with the plain C15 Qualcomm Edition to bring out the difference it has from the previous version. Realme C15 was launched in August with a MediaTek chipset but this one sports a Snapdragon 460 SoC.
Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition costs Rs 9,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage version and the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model costs Rs 10,999. But you can get these models for Rs 500 less as a part of the festive offer. The 3GB model will sell for Rs 9,499 and the 4GB version will cost you Rs 10,499 starting noon on October 29 on Flipkart and mainline stores. Realme C15 comes in Power Blue and Power Silver colours.
Realme had previously hinted at launching Qualcomm versions of its C-series phones but there was speculation over a slightly higher price over the regular MediaTek versions. It seems the company is not leaving a big choice there. The Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition costs Rs 9,999 -- which is the same as the smartphone's MediaTek counterpart. It will be interesting to see if the Qualcomm Edition manages to cannibalise the MediaTek version because of the price.
The rest of the specifications are the same. The Realme C15 features a 6.5-inch 720p LCD with a notch on top. It has up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage that works in tandem with the Snapdragon 460 processor. You have the fingerprint sensor on the back of the smartphone. For photography, there is a 13MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 2MP black-and-white sensor, and a retro sensor. For selfies, you have an 8MP camera residing inside the notch. The smartphone has a 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
