Realme is launching a new C-series smartphone soon. It will be the C21 that is ideally the successor to C20 launched in January. This phone is going to be launched in Malaysia while Realme launched the C11, C12, and C15 in India while C17 was launched in Bangladesh and C20 debuted in Vietnam. The smartphone has been confirmed on the Alibaba website, wherein some of the key specifications have also been revealed.
In an official poster, Realme has confirmed the launch of the C21 will take place on March 5. The phone will arrive in Malaysia for now, so the availability in other countries is not known right now. The poster does not mention the specifications of the phone but the listing spotted on Alibaba's e-commerce website has revealed some of them. The Realme C21 is going to be an incremental update over the C20, which is why the former is getting minor bumps in specifications. For instance, the Realme C21 will have 4GB of RAM unlike 2GB on the C20.
The listing, spotted by MySmartPrice, suggests the Realme C21 will come with a 6.52-inch LCD with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a screen-to-body ratio of 89.5 per cent. There is also a water drop-style notch on the top of the display. The screen seems to lack a 90Hz or higher refresh rate, as per the listing. The Realme C21 is listed to sport a MediaTek Helio G35 processor with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Realme C21, however, will have a 5000mAh 10W fast-charging battery that C20 also comes with.
For the cameras, the Realme C21 will have three sensors at the back, comprising a 13MP main one and two 2MP auxiliary ones. For selfies, the Realme C21 is said to come with a 5MP camera. The smartphone is going to have a 3.5mm headphone jack, a Micro-USB port, a dedicated slot for a microSD card, and two slots for nano-sized SIM cards. As for connectivity, the Realme C21 will support 4G, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth among others.
The listing also shows the render for the C21 wherein it can be seen having a speaker on the back that has a diamond-cut design, something similar to what we have seen on the Realme C20. The cameras are housed inside the square-shaped module, along with a fingerprint sensor that sits below the module, at the dead centre. All the buttons, including the volume rocker, are located on the right side of the phone in the image. There seem to be two colour variants for the C21, black and blue, however, there could be fancier names for them that Realme will announce at the launch.
Realme C21 price
According to the listing, the Realme C21 could come at around Rs 11,200. However, it is better to wait for the official announcement from Realme on March 5.
