  • Realme is said to bring the Narzo 30 series in January next year.
  • Realme launched the Narzo series earlier this year with Narzo 10, Narzo 10A.
  • The Narzo 20 series brought Narzo 30A, Narzo 30, Narzo 30 Pro.

Realme has had a pretty busy 2020 wherein its journey encompassed several smartphone launches. A better part of this portfolio comprises sequel smartphones but there was one new series the Realme introduced and took forward with successors. Realme launched the Narzo 10 series right after the lockdown was relaxed and the Narzo 20 series a few months back. The Oppo offshoot is now seemingly gearing up to launch the Narzo 30 series. And this could happen as early as January 2021.

Tipster Mukul Sharma has tweeted that Realme Narzo 30 series could be on its way to debut in the month of January next year. That is when Realme does not make any last-minute changes to its plan. The Realme Narzo 30 series is also said to bring three smartphones under it, much like how the Realme Narzo 20 series has them. This would mean that we will see the Realme Narzo 30, Narzo 30 Pro, and the low-end Narzo 30A in the series. But Sharma has not divulged information on these three models under the series.

The Narzo 10 series was launched with just two smartphones under it but the Narzo 20 series introduced the third smartphone in the series. Realme might continue with this standard for the Narzo 30 series. In terms of specifications, the Narzo 30 series smartphones might bring minor upgrades over the Narzo 20 series phones. Obviously, the Narzo 30 series will not come with support for 5G connectivity but there could be better cameras, displays with high refresh rate, and powerful batteries with fast charging.

Several Realme devices have been spotted on certification and benchmarking websites. It is possible three devices from all these could be the Narzo 30, Narzo 30 Pro, and the Narzo 30A. Nothing is confirmed right now. Realme was said to have got multiple devices certified on the website of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). For example, the RMX3171 device that was speculated to be the first one in a brand-new series. Nothing is clear about this Realme model as of now.

Separately, Realme has begun teasing the launch of the Watch S models in India. Realme's Madhav Sheth had shared a live image of the Realme Watch S Pro on Twitter to confirm that it is coming to India soon. The Realme Watch S will tag along but it was originally launched in November in Pakistan. Both smartwatches were announced back at the company's IFA 2020 event in Berlin. In terms of features, both smartwatch models are not very different. Running custom OS, the smartwatches bring support for health- and fitness-related functions but the Realme Watch S pro is expected to come with GPS and NFC functionalities.

By the looks of it, the Realme Watch S Pro seems a bigger version of the Watch S. Sheth is wearing the smartwatch on his wrist, showing the rubber strap with vertical grooves on it. The dial has a number ring on top, which indicates minutes, which also means it is not rotatable much like how the Samsung Galaxy Watch has it. There are two physical buttons on the side, both circular. One of them could be for main functionalities such as returning to the home screen or opening an app while the other will be associated with health and fitness features. The watch face looks mechanical style but there could be more of them.
