- Realme's upcoming device under the Q series will come with Android 11.
- Its details include an octa-core processor with 5G connectivity.
- There is going to be a 4900mAh battery with 30W charging on it.
Realme Q1 will likely be the first smartphone to come running Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 out of the box. It has leaked previously via a listing on the AnTuTu benchmarking website, which did give a peek at what we can expect from the device hardware-wise. A rather vivid set of details is now available, thanks to its listing on China's 3C certification website.
The first device under the Realme Q series, dubbed Q1, bears the model number RMX2117. The 3C listing has revealed there is going to be 5G connectivity on the smartphone and that there will be 30W fast charging on it. The Realme Q1 is likely to come with a 6.5-inch 1080p LCD with an aspect ratio of 20:9. Now we are not sure whether there will be a notch or a punch-hole on this display. The images of RMX2117 obtained from the TENAA listing do not show anything on the display.
The camera information is also available. Realme is going for a 48-megapixel main camera on the Q1, besides an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter and a 2-megapixel depth-sensing camera on the back. The design of the camera is like the one on the Realme 7-series phones. So, there is nothing new there. The sensors used on this upcoming phone are also likely to identical to what existing Realme phones sport.
The processor, particularly, is going to tell what segment that Realme Q1 will belong to. We know there is going to be 5G on this phone and the cheapest processor for 5G connectivity are Dimensity 720 from MediaTek and Snapdragon 690 from Qualcomm although a variant of Snapdragon 4-series is also expected. The information listed on the 3C website does not tell us any of that. It vaguely says there will be a 2.4GHz octa-core processor that will run the show on the Realme Q1. Supporting the processor will be two RAM and storage configurations 4GB and 64GB, 6GB and 128GB.
The 30W charging will juice up the 4900mAh battery on the Realme Q1, according to the certification website. And finally, the Realme Q1 is expected to measure in at 162.2 x 75.1 x 9.1mm while the weight is going to be 194 grams. You can expect the Realme Q1 to have grey, silver, black, and blue colourways.
