Realme X3 SuperZoom, X3, Buds Q to launch in India on June 25

Realme has announced it will launch the X3 SuperZoom, X3 on June 25 in India. It is also expected the Buds Q TWS earbuds will arrive the same day.

Realme will launch the Realme X3, Realme X3 SupeZoom smartphones in India on June 25. The announcement comes soon after the company began teasing the two smartphones on social media. While the Realme X3 SuperZoom originally launched in Europe last month, the Realme X3 will be the brand new device that has been alongside the former in the rumour mill. Realme's event is also likely to see the launch of the Realme Buds Q TWS earbuds.

In a post on Twitter, Realme India announced the X3 SuperZoom and X3 launch event will begin at 12.30 pm on June 25 in India. The event will be live-streamed on YouTube, as well as on Facebook and Twitter via Realme India's handles. The company will announce the pricing and availability of the Realme X3 SuperZoom and X3 on the launch day.

It is also likely the company will launch the Buds Q truly wireless earbuds in India on the same day. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has been teasing the launch of the Buds Q for a while now. Moreover, Realme India marketing chief Francis Wang teased the Buds Q will arrive in India for under Rs 2,000. Going by the tentative pricing, the Realme Buds Q will take on the Redmi Earbuds S, which costs Rs 1,799.

For the Realme X3 series, the X3 SuperZoom will be the premium one to come with a periscope camera and a Snapdragon 855+ processor. The smartphone is touted to offer 5X optical zoom and 60X digital zoom using the periscope camera, in addition to having a 64-megapixel main sensor. The smartphone will also come with 30W fast charging support. The Realme X3 is expected to be a toned-down version of the Realme X3 SuperZoom with some differences in the cameras and storage.

The Realme X3 SupeZoom is said to be the successor of the Realme X2 Pro. Although, there are rumours the company is working on a Realme X3 Pro, as well. Currently, it is not clear whether Realme will discontinue the Realme X2 Pro after the launch of X3 SuperZoom or will the former see a drop in its pricing. In any case, we will know more about the plans of Realme India in the coming days before the June 25th event.
