- Realme X7 will be India's first Dimensity 800U powered phone.
- The Realme X7 Pro will be a mid-range 5G phone in India.
Realme X7 and X7 Pro 5G smartphones are headed to India next month. After over a month of teasers and a little detour from what was initially speculated about the next X-series phones, Realme has confirmed the launch date for its first mid-end 5G phones in India, giving relief to many interested people who have been bugging Realme India boss Madhav Sheth about when they will be able to finally buy the X7 series phones in India. Well, this is only the launch date and when these phones will go on sale will be announced next month.
The Realme X7 series will be launched on February 4 in India but before that happens, there are a few things that you should know. First, the Realme X7 will mark the debut of Dimensity 800U processor in India while X7 Pro will be the second smartphone powered by Dimensity 1000+ processor. Realme sent a disc that has the Dimensity 800U chip attached, pointing out the milestone that the company is about to achieve. Second, these are the first mid-range 5G devices from Realme in India, but they are not the first ones in the market. Unlike the last time when X50 Pro 5G was launched, Realme missed seizing the opportunity. And, finally, the Realme X7 series is originally over four months old now. These phones were launched in China in September last year.
Realme X7 series expected price
The Realme X7 was launched at CNY 1,799 onwards in China, which translates to roughly Rs 20,000 in India. But if we go by the company's tradition, this device will cost a little less than what the currency conversion is projecting. This also means that the X7 series may sit below the Realme 7 series in the ladder. If Realme has its way, the X7 series will be the most affordable 5G smartphones in India as and when they launch. The official prices for X7 and X7 Pro will be announced on the launch date.
