All the three telecom operators have gotten very aggressive with their prepaid plans and the competition has arisen even more after the price hike in December. Vodafone, Airtel and Jio have constantly modified their plans and even discontinued some existing plans that were not very popular amongst the subscribers. Many new plans were introduced and many benefits were added to suit the needs of the subscribers.

Jio provides some of the most affordable data plans and currently has three plans that offer 2GB data per day such as Rs 249, Rs 444 and Rs 549. The Rs 249 is the most-sought after prepaid plans amongst the three plans listed above. Apart from offering 2GB data per day, it provides unlimited Jio-to-Jio calling and a free subscription to Jio apps. The plan has a validity of 28 days. Whereas the Rs 444 plan offers same data benefits, Jio to Jio Unlimited, Jio to Non-Jio FUP of 2,000 minutes but has a validity of 56 days. The Rs 599 plan, on the other hand, has a validity of 84 days and it also offers Jio to Jio Unlimited, Jio to Non-Jio FUP of 3,000 minutes

The Rs 299 plan offers 2GB data per day along with 100 SMSes per day, unlimited calling to all networks and a free subscription to Vodafone play and streaming app Zee5. The plan has a validity of 28 days. Whereas the Rs 449 plan offers the same benefits but it is valid for 56 days. The Rs 699 plan, on the other hand, offers similar benefits but is valid for 84 days. All the plans come along with a free subscription to Zee5 and Vodafone Play.

It is valid for 28 days. The Rs 449 plan, on the other hand, has similar things to offer but has a validity of 56 days and Rs 698 plan can be used for 84 days.
