Even though our gadgets are becoming more and more intelligent, they still struggle to last even a day. To counter it, ways of charging these gadgets are also becoming smart. Instead of carrying a charger wherever you go, we have started relying on battery banks. These store the charge to juice up the device instantly, eliminating the need to look for a plug point.
The Zoook Power Bank is a rectangular-shaped device and is quite heavy. Done in white, it has Zoook written on one corner with a circular power key on the other end.
When switched on, there are four LEDs around the key that illuminates and shows the battery status.
All the ports, a micro USB for charging the bank and two USB for charging gadgets are all placed on one side. The power bank is accompanied with a cable that has USB connectivity on one end and a micro USB on the other. The micro USB is further connected to an iPhone 30 pin connector for charging an iPhone.
The micro USB can be removed from iPhone connector to charge any other device with universal charger. The two USB outputs can be used to charge two gadgets at the same time. The company claims that the power bank has a security protection design. This means, the device will automatically shut down when there will be a short circuit or overload of output.
This power bank can store up to 5000 mAh of power and can charge two smartphones with over 2000 mAh battery easily. I charged my iPhone 4 thrice with still some charge left in it. It is good enough to power my iPad too. However, I had to plug it for over six hours to charge the power bank completely.
