  • The phone could come with support for an S Pen.
  • Samsung could eventually phase out the Galaxy Note series.

A new leak about the Galaxy S21 has surfaced online which reveals something very interesting about the device. As per the latest information coming in about the device from a trusted tipster, Ice Universe, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with an S Pen this year. While the tipster hasn't mentioned where he has received this information from, he did however claim that this information is accurate.

Interestingly, this is not the first time when a tipster has claimed that the Galaxy S Pen would be bundled with the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Previously, we've heard similar rumours and also claims that with the S Pen moving to the Galaxy S series, Samsung will eventually phase out the Galaxy Note series and replace it with the Galaxy Z Fold lineup.

Information about the Galaxy S21 Ultra has been coming in thick and fast over the last few weeks. Earlier, key specs of the device were leaked online as a report claimed the Galaxy S21 Ultra will run its display at 1440p resolution and fast 120Hz refresh rate together. The leak also claimed that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will use an updated 108-megapixel HM3 sensor, which according to reports will capture 12 per cent more light than before.

However, there will be no 3D Time of Flight sensor on the device to supplement the 108-megapixel main camera. Instead, the phone is tipped to use laser-assisted autofocus. The report also suggests that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will support 45W charging and have virtually no bezels to complete a clean look.

Other details available about the device include the Galaxy S21 Ultra sporting a screen which will be between 6.7 and 6.9-inches with the phone measuring roughly around 165.1x75.6x8.9mm.

We also know that the phone, alongside the other S21 series phones, could launch earlier than usual, as the series is set to arrive in January 2021. This would be the earliest release for a Samsung Galaxy S flagship. The phone is expected to be launched in three models, including a top-end S21 Ultra featuring support for an S Pen and new camera capabilities.
