Apple will host its annual developer's conference WWDC 2021 on Monday night. The event is being held virtually, just like last year, keeping up with the current times. Apple is known to make several software announcements during the event. This year it is expected to showcase new versions of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS. There are also reports suggesting that Cupertino-based tech giant may also unveil new MacBooks and a few other products.

Not all of these reports or leaks may turn out true. As we mentioned before, Apple largely focuses on software during WWDC and may only launch a product or two. For others, you will have to wait longer. Here is everything Apple might skip at WWDC 2021.

iPad Mini

There were rumours suggesting that Apple may soon launch a new iPad Mini with slimmer bezels. However, Apple is believed to be still working on the new model and plans to remove the home button like it did with the iPad Air. So the launch is expected to take longer than what was expected earlier.

Needless to say that Apple enthusiasts should also not expect new iPhone models during the event. Early rumours had hinted at a new iPhone SE at WWDC 2021 but, that's not likely to happen.

Apple Watch and AirPods

Apple is unlikely to launch a new Apple Watch or AirPods. The latter are teased before almost every Apple event these days but are unlikely to come anytime soon. However, the new AirPods are closer to launch than any other product and may be designed to support Apple Music's new lossless audio feature. Similarly, the tech giant may showcase the Apple watch later this year during its hardware event.

iMac Pro

There are multiple reliable reports claiming that Apple may launch a new MacBook Pro at WWDC 2021, just a year after introducing its custom-made M1 chip. The new MacBook Pro is expected to be powered by an even more powerful chipset. However, that's all Apple might do on this front. Contrary to what a few reports suggest, the tech giant might not launch a new iMac Pro. There is a chance that Apple will introduce a 29-inch or 32-inch pro-tier iMac with M1X or M2 processor this year but it might not happen this year.

The WWDC 2021 keynote will begin at 10am PDT (10:30pm IST) today. You will be able to watch live streaming of WWDC 2021 through Apple's YouTube channel, Apple.com website, Apple TV app, and the Apple Developer app. A
