ESports Premier League 2021 is a franchise-based league announced by India Today Gaming. The tournament wants to tap into the growing landscape of eSports in the country to help the competitive gaming community. Recently, Infinix Mobile, a leading smartphone manufacturing company, joined ESPL 2021 as the title sponsor.

ESPL 2021 is the first-ever third-party Free Fire multi-city tournament announced with such a huge prize pool. ESPL 2021 features a massive prize pool of Rs 25,00,000 distributed among the top 8 teams of the ESPL 2021 grand finals. These 8 teams will compete against rivals to represent eight cities across the country. These cities include Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Bangalore. Besides the tournament prize pool, ESPL will offer all 8 teams and their players' comprehensive media coverage across various media platforms, including digital, print, TV, and more.

Format for ESports Premier League 2021

The ESPL 2021 grand finals are scheduled for August 29th, 2021. ESPL 2021 is divided into four phases. The first phase will be for the amateur and semi-professional teams, a total of 88 teams will qualify through the 2nd phase. 8 invited teams will be joining the phase 1 qualified teams. The teams qualifying in the next phase will represent the 8 cities as mentioned above. Phase 4 will have the top 8 teams from the country who will compete for the glory and prize pool.

As stated earlier, ESports Premier League 2021 is announced for the amateur and semi-professional teams. The teams would be competing in the open qualifiers to proceed into the next phase. Where to watch ESPL 2021

Interested players and fans can watch the live streams for the matches in six languages, including Hindi, English, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Bengali. The league will be streamed live on multiple platforms, including OTT giant Disney+ Hotstar as well as the official YouTube and Facebook channels of India Today and Aaj Tak, along with their websites.
