iPhone 14 gets Rs 7,000 off on Apple India Store in its Diwali sale, here is how deal works

As a part of its Diwali offer, Apple is offering up to Rs 7,000 off with HDFC Bank and American Express credit cards.

Story highlights
  • Customers can also trade in old iPhones.
  • They will get between Rs 2,200 and Rs 58,730 off on the final purchase.
  • The exchange value of the old iPhone will depend on the condition.

Apple's new iPhone 14 is already available with a big discount on Apple's official India-specific e-store. As a part of its Diwali offer, Apple is offering up to Rs 7,000 off with HDFC Bank and American Express credit cards. The same discount offer is applicable on eligible Apple products on orders above Rs 41,900. Users will get the cashback at the time of final payment with the aforementioned bank cards.

It means that Apple customers can purchase the new iPhone 14 smartphone for effectively Rs 72,900, down from Rs 79,900. Customers can also trade in old iPhones and get between Rs 2,200 and Rs 58,730 off on the final purchase. As expected, the value of the old iPhone will depend on the condition. Apple says it will run a diagnostic test and verify the condition on the spot. When everything checks out, your trade-in and purchase are complete. In case the phone is not in the best condition, Apple will offer "a choice"

Apple writes, "You can accept and pay the difference between the trade-in credit you already received and the revised value of your device. Or you can keep your trade-in device and pay back the entire instant credit amount".

Currently, the iPhone 14's base 128GB storage model costs Rs 79,900, and the 256GB model is priced at Rs 89,900. Its top 512GB option carries a price tag of Rs 1,09,900. Flipkart is also offering a discount of up to Rs 1,250 with Axis Bank credit cards, though units were out of stock at the time of writing this article. It is also unavailable on Amazon India. On the other hand, Apple's official retailer partner, Imagine Store, is selling the phone at the same MRP but with up to Rs 5,000 off with HDFC cards.

If customers are unable to find the new iPhone 14, the iPhone 13 is also a good option to consider. The latter is more or less similar to the new-gen model in terms of specifications, though iPhone 14 is much easier to repair. That means customers will find it relatively cheaper to repair an iPhone 14 in case of accidental damage. The same HDFC bank offer is available on iPhone 13, which is priced at Rs 69,900. Users can effectively buy it for Rs 62,900 on the official Apple Store.
