Realme is reportedly working on a new smartphone whose whereabouts are a mystery. A Realme smartphone has leaked in live images, showing off a peculiar rear design that looks much like a Oppo Reno smartphone from 2019. We know the Realme X3 SuperZoom is in the works but its design has never been leaked so far. Chances are this mysterious Realme device is the X3 SuperZoom, but considering the old design of the smartphone, it could very well be a shelved smartphone.

The images of the unknown Realme smartphone were shared on Weibo, who is claimed to be credible in a report by DroidHolic. The Realme smartphone can be seen with a carbon-esque finish with a glass panel at the back. The smartphone has a quad-camera setup on the back with the 'AI Quad Cameras' strip, but one of the sensors seems concealed due to how the image was shot. There is the Realme logo as well at the back, which looks different from the standard emblazonment of the Realme brand on its smartphones released so far.

The Realme smartphone is kept next to the Realme X50 Pro 5G, which does not tell us anything except for keeping us guessing if it is another X-series phone. There are gold-coloured lines on the boundary of the rear surface, as well. Apart from what it looks like, the Realme smartphone has not leaked in its full glory. The specifications and features of the smartphone are also not known. It might as well be a smartphone that Realme may not launch in markets and has been shelved. But if we were to guess, this could be the Realme X3 SuperZoom, the specifications of which are available in abundance.

The Realme X3 SuperZoom has appeared on various certification websites and the Geekbench benchmarking website. It has a codename RMX2086 and is listed to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor, along with 12GB of RAM. The smartphone will come running Android 10, possibly with company's own Realme UI skin on top. As the name suggests, the smartphone will cater to the cameras, especially the zoom capabilities. As per the previous rumours, the Realme X3 SuperZoom could have 50X digital zoom via its telephoto sensor. The smartphone will reportedly launch in China first and its release will expand to other markets later.
