Realme may be preparing to launch its next affordable phone in India. A new report has said that the company may launch the Realme C30 in India soon, adding to its C-series of budget phones. The C30 could be a trimmed-down version of the Realme C31 that was introduced in India recently. Sadly, there have not been any leaks around the C30 in the past, so it is a little hard to guess its specifications, but the latest report has revealed what colours and RAM and storage configurations the C30 will be available in.

According to MySmartPrice, the Realme C30 may come in Denim Black, Lake Blue, and Bamboo Green colours. Now, I am not sure what design or pattern the phone will feature, but if you see the recently-launched C-series, you can expect it to have a plain, no-frills design. The report also said that the Realme C30 will be available in 2GB and 3GB RAM options. That seems fine considering this is going to be a budget phone. The storage may be set at 32GB for both RAM variants, the report said.

There is no other information available about the Realme C30 right now, so we will have to wait for more leaks to come.

To remind you, Realme launched the C31 in India in March. It is among the most affordable Android phones you can buy right now. And despite being a budget phone, the Realme C31 brings a big display, a capable processor, and a long battery life. If you cannot wait for the Realme C30, you can consider the C31, which costs Rs 8,999. Here are the specifications of the C31:

Display: The Realme C31 comes with a 6.5-inch "Fullscreen" display with an HD resolution. It has a screen-to-body ratio of 88.7 per cent and supports 16.7 million colours. Since the phone is entry-level, the display supports only a 60Hz refresh rate, which means scrolling and animation will not look much smoother. However, the 120Hz touch sampling rate will make sure the screen has a good touch response.

Processor: Powering the Realme C31 is an octa-core Unisoc T612 processor clocked at up to 1.82GHz. This chipset is based on the 12nm process. For graphics, the processor uses an ARM Mali-G57 GPU.

RAM and Storage: The Realme C31 comes in two RAM and storage configurations. You get a 3GB RAM, 32GB storage variant and a 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant. If you feel this is not enough storage for you, you can add a microSD card of up to 1TB to the phone.

Cameras: The Realme C31 has three cameras on the back. In a design that is similar to the GT 2 Pro's, the phone has a 13-megapixel main camera with an F2.2 aperture, a macro camera with an F2.4 aperture, and a black-and-white camera with unspecified graphics resolution but an F2.8 aperture. For selfies, you get a 5-megapixel F2.2 camera on the Realme C31 and it resides inside the punch-hole.

Battery: Realme C31 brings a 5000mAh battery, which most users will appreciate. While it does make the phone a little on the heavier side, it will last a day easily. This battery supports 10W charging, which could be an issue because it may take around two hours for a full charge. The 10W charger is bundled with the phone.

Operating System: The Realme C31 runs Android 11 but with the company's own Realme UI R Edition.
