  • Realme GT Master Explorer Edition's price has leaked online ahead of launch.

Realme GT Master Edition is coming Wednesday, July 21, in China. Last-minute rumours have revealed nearly everything, leaving nothing to the imagination. And if that was not enough, a tip has claimed to reveal the price of the top edition of the smartphone called the GT Master Explorer Edition. The smartphone is likely to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, which means it is going to be a premium device, but the leaked price is less than what most phones with this set of specifications cost.

According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition will come in a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, which will cost CNY 2,999. This translates to roughly Rs 34,597, which is not a premium price considering the kind of specifications the phone is likely to offer. This storage configuration is essentially the base version, which means there will be more variants with up to 12GB of RAM, according to rumours. The top model of the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition may cost much higher.

For its specifications, the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition may come with a 6.55-inch Super AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. This display is also likely to support HDR10+ and 1100 nits of brightness. The smartphone is going to come with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), per Yadav. The smartphone will have an Android 11 operating system with Realme UI 2.0 skin on top. This phone is likely to come with a 4300mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

The specifications that Yadav has shared are in line with previous rumours. However, at one point, rumours were rife that there would be two variants and that the lower one would use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset. Some rumours even suggested there will be a 108-megapixel camera on the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition, which makes sense because the company is likely to promote this phone as camera-centric. For what it is worth, the phone is going to bring premium-level specifications.

Realme has already teased what the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition looks like. The phone has been designed by Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, who also designed previous Master Edition phones for Realme. The design of the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition looks similar to that of a briefcase. "The design of the realme GT Master Edition will evoke your travel memories, Fukasawa drew parallels from suitcase which symbolises the joys of traveling, inspiring the youth to be bold complimenting realme's brand spirit to #DareToLeap," Realme said in a statement.
