Realme X50 Pro 5G, the first 5G smartphone that was launched in India, will go on the first sale today at 12 pm after a long wait of four months. The sales of Realme's only 5G smartphone in India were put on hold due to the manufacturing halt amid successive lockdowns. Since manufacturing of the Realme X50 Pro 5G has resumed, the company is geared up to sell it but with increased prices. The Realme X50 Pro 5G price in India has gone up by Rs 2,000 and now starts at Rs 39,999. It was launched for Rs 37,999 back in February.
The Realme X50 Pro 5G sale will begin at 12 pm on Flipkart an Realme.com. The inventory will likely be limited, so if you want to grab one you will have to do that quickly before the stock goes out. There is no word on when the offline sales of the smartphone will resume.
There are three variants of the Realme X50 Pro 5G - the base variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage costs Rs 39,999, the 8GB/128GB version is priced at Rs 41,999, and finally, the top-end variant with 12GB/256GB storage configuration is priced at Rs 47,999. The Realme X50 Pro 5G comes in Moss Green and Rust Red colours.
The Realme X50 Pro 5G supports 5G networks on all spectrums from all over the world, which means you can carry the phone to 5G enabled countries and experience high speeds. But in India, you will have to wait for when 5G launches commercially. The smartphone has a 6.44-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. There is also a punch-hole design on top. The smartphone runs Android 10-based Realme UI.
For optics, there are four cameras on the rear of the Realme X50 Pro 5G. There is a 64-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is a 32-megapixel main camera on the front accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The smartphone is backed by a 4200mAh battery that charges at up to 65W. The smartphone has an in-display fingerprint sensor and dual speakers. The connectivity options on the Realme X50 Pro 5G include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G, 5G, and USB-C port among others.
