Xiaomi already offers an outstanding tablet under its Mi branding and now the company is launching a brand new tablet under Redmi. It is called the Redmi Pad. The tablet will be unveiled at an event today at 12PM and interested customers will be able to watch the livestream at the comfort of their home. In addition to the affordable price, it is possible that Redmi will announce some festive offers as well to make the Redmi Pad an even more tempting deal.

The company has already revealed the design of the Redmi Pad through some of its latest teasers. By the looks of it, the Redmi Pad looks sleek in three colours green, black and grey. On the front as well, the teasers show a much hole camera system. The bezels of the sides are quite prominent.

As shown in teasers, the Redmi Pad is primarily focused on consumers who browse on the go, watch lot of content online, students for online learning, and also gaming. Notably, in the price segment that the company is targeting, this is the first time that a tablet has been developed and also keeps gamers in mind. Redmi claims that the Pad can handle gamers all of kinds, from basic to graphics heavy ones.

The company hasn't officially revealed the specifications of the Redmi Pad yet but rumours and leaks have already given a rough idea. As far as a recently leaked unboxing showed, the upcoming Redmi Pad will include a 10.61-inch FHD+ display with 90hz refresh rate. The tablet is said to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and include an 8,000mAh battery.

As far as the pricing is concerned, the Redmi Pad will be an affordable product. It is possible that the Redmi Pad will compete with Realme Pad, Moto Tab G70, among the few others. The official price of the Redmi Pad remains unknown for now but considering the competition, the Redmi Pad is likely to be priced under Rs 20,000 mark.
