Vivo X60 Pro+: Why this could be a game-changer for the company
We know that several mobile companies are racing to bring smartphones powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor to India and Vivo seems to be part of that club too with its Vivo X60 Pro+.
The smartphone launched in China last month and comes at a price of roughly Rs 57,000. Some of the companies expected to launch a smartphone with the flagship-grade Snapdragon 888 processor are Realme, Xiaomi, and even Oppo.
In December, the Chinese handset manufacturer announced a global partnership with ZEISS optics, which meant that all Vivo phones will now carry the ZEISS branding. The company confirmed that the first smartphone to have the ZEISS branding would be the Vivo X60 series.
Refreshing specs of the Vivo X60 Pro+, the smartphone runs on its OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11 and features a 6.56-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display. It comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and sports a stunning 92.7 per cent screen-to-body ratio. Powered by Snapdragon 888, the X60 Pro+ comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage.
It comes with a 50-megapixel primary sensor accompanied by a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 32-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel periscope lens. At the front, there's a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. The handset packs a 4200mAh battery and offers 55W fast charging adapter in the box.
Notably, Vivo has also launched the X60 and X60 Pro with Exynos 1080 processor in China. We expect these smartphones to make it to the Indian market in the coming months.
