- Vivo S6 is all set for March 31 launch
- The phone has been teased to come with a circular quad camera setup
- The smartphone will also bring support for 5G
Despite the Covid-19 outbreak, the biggest names in the smartphone industry are trying to go about their business as usual. One of these names is Vivo, which could be all set to launch a new smartphone in its home country China as early as next week.
The company is set to launch a new smartphone on March 31, the Vivo S6 5G. Ahead of its launch, some crucial details about the smartphone have already leaked online, with the phone also being shown to house two selfie cameras.
And now, the company has revealed the design of the phone in official renders and promo images. The renders reveal some interesting information about the device, including the fact that the phone will come with a quad-camera set-up -- with three of the lenses in the set-up lined vertically, while the fourth one sitting in the right side of the circular setup.
Vivo has already revealed the main lens on the smartphone will be a 48-megapixel sensor. However, apart from this, there is nothing else known about the device. From the images, the camera set-up on the device looks similar to other vivo phones -- a mix between the NEX 3 circle and the Vivo S1 Pro rhombus. The images also show a dual-colored LED flash below the circle.
On the left, the image shows the camera to say 48 MP with some other camera-related information mentioned underneath. The phone has previously been listed on JD.com in China revealing that it will be available in at least two colors - Pink-Blue-White gradient and Dark Blue-White gradient.
Apart from this, the phone's appearance on certification websites has revealed that it will support up to 18W fast charging (9Vdc, 2A). However, there is no information on the size of the battery pack that the phone will come flaunting.
