Vivo recently launched the V20 smartphone in India. At the event, it announced the arrival of the V20 SE in India at a later date, and now the company has announced its plans to make further additions to the series with the launch of the V20 Pro.

Vivo India CEO Jerome Chen has confirmed that the company will be launching the V20 Pro in India next month. The phone could be launched in India towards the end of November. The phone will come to India after the V20 Pro was launched in Thailand in September with a dual selfie camera and Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC.

Although Vivo hasn't shared any pricing information about the V20 Pro, it is expected to be launched at a price higher than the V20, thereby pushing it to above 30k price point in the country.

As for the specifications, there is again no confirmed information, but if the V20 pro launched in Thailand is anything to go by, it will feature a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) AMOLED display.

Under the hood, the phone will come running an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM. There could be 128GB of onboard storage on the Vivo V20 Pro. Much like the Vivo V20, the Vivo V20 Pro runs on FuntouchOS 11, based on Android 11.

For cameras, the phone will get a triple rear camera setup that houses a 64-megapixel primary Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor, sat next to an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. At the front, there will be a dual selfie camera setup with a 44-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor.

Keeping the lights on a 4,000mAh battery with support for 33W FlashCharge fast charging technology. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

This spec sheet will obviously be an upgrade over the V20 which came with more modest specs. The Vivo V20 is currently available in three colour options Midnight Jazz, Moonlight Sonata, and Sunset Melody. All these colours can be had in two storage configurations. The Vivo V20 starts at a price of Rs 24,990 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB variant. The phone's also available in another variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB variant at a price of Rs 27,990.
